LAWS OF THE LAND. howdy !! welcome to my selective / mutuals only, largely headcanon based roleplay blog for THRALL of blizzard entertainment's warcraft franchise. i am not affiliated with blizz in any way shape or form, nor do i own thrall as a character. i am not thrall and he is not me, therefore i do not condone everything he says or does. this is just something i do for fun.i ask that you we actually think and act. i personally believe shoving things like rape or pedophilia or incest into narratives that have no room for it is sketchy as fuck.i understand some people write these topics to help themselves cope with their own experiences, but i don't believe doing it publicly on tumblr, tagged or otherwise, is the best way to go about that. if you feel like treating these things like fun quirky plot devices to spice up your roleplay experience, then go ahead. just do it far away from me.and of course, because i still have to fucking say this in 2022, the standard Don't Act Like A absolutely laugh at you in private for having the nerve to follow me and act that way.SELECTIVITY & EXCLUSIVITY. i am pretty selective, and i only write with mutuals. generally, i aim to make friends with the people i write with, and my friends will take priority when it comes to drafts / asks / plotting / etc. this is not an attempt at elitism or clique behavior, i just feel comfier writing with applies: no godmodding unless discussed prior, no forcing ships, etc. i am of course willing to write with OCs of all sorts, though i am going to ask that you have some sort of about page / dossier or something ready for me to read. i will also probably ask you a lot of questions / just expect you to talk about your character a lot in general, so be prepared for that. i will always listen !!in regard to content warnings, i always tag generic triggers. my format is "tw [trigger]" and that does not change. if you need something specific / "uncommon" tagged please either say so in your rules or tell me directly. i will make sure it is tagged for you, no questions asked. the nature of thrall's character is pretty heavy considering his background and what he comes from, and i don't shy from talking about it. blood, gore, death, self harm, racism & slavery, child abuse, war, very occasional smut and suggestive themes, and other mature topics will be present here. again, i tag everything, but that's your heads-up.i will reblog callouts for individuals who have proven to be harmful and predatory in the roleplay community, and often times i am not afraid to voice my opinion during times FULL NAME: Thrall, meaning "slave". while it has become common knowledge in Azeroth at this point that his birth name is Go'el, he actively chooses NOT to use this name. the name Thrall bears importance to him for personal reasons regarding his heritage and he relents for no one.

AGE: about 35 as of Dragonflight, but there's certainly wiggle room

PLACE OF BIRTH: the very outskirts of the Dark Portal, almost immediately after its opening

BODY BUILD: on the smaller end of the average height range for an orc, though rather tall in comparison to the clan of his birth. Thrall has a stocky build and is covered in thick, working muscle. In his younger years he was more "cut" in his appearance, but he's somewhat softened with time (though his strength has never diminished).
TATTOOS + PIERCINGS: pierced ears & cartilage, as well as his septum. nipples are also pierced. tattoo of the Horde insignia on his right shoulder.
NOTABLE PHYSICAL TRAITS: there is a very light dusting of freckles across his face, shoulders, and forearms. his skin is a pale olive green, a result of the fel magic used to resuscitate him at birth, though this is not uncommon among orcs. his scar is littered with scars from a lifetime of conflict, the brunt of which are located on his back, shoulders, the backs of his legs, and his wrists/ankles.

PROFICIENCIES: hand-to-hand combat, combat with most forms of melee weaponry including axes, swords and hammers of both one and two-handed varieties, daggers, polearms, as well as longbows and crossbows. he is also proficient in elemental power, and while he has considerable sway with all the elements, he has the most favor with earth.
WEAPON OF CHOICE: the Doomhammer, a legendary orcish hammer imbued with elemental power as bestowed to him by the best friend of his deceased father and one of Thrall's many mentors, Orgrim Doomhammer. after the Legion expansion when this artifact is bestowed to the player shaman, he takes up an axe his father had made many years ago named Dra'gora.
